1. Eligibility for Refund

You may request a refund if:

a. The item received is defective or damaged

  • Item arrives broken, faulty, or not functioning as described.

b. The item delivered is incorrect

  • Wrong size, wrong model, or a completely different product from what was ordered.

c. The item does not match the description

  • Significant variations in colour, quality, features, or specifications.

d. The item was not delivered

  • Delivery failure after the confirmed delivery window (depending on the product category and seller).

 

    2. Non-Refundable Items
    Refunds will NOT be granted for:
    Change of mind after purchase.
    Items clearly stated as non-refundable on the product page.
    Items damaged due to misuse after delivery.
    Digital products or services once accessed or downloaded.
    Items without original packaging, accessories, or tags

     

      3. Refund Request Window
      Customers must submit a refund request within 3–7 days of receiving the item, depending on the product category:
      Perishable goods: within 24 hours
      Electronics: within 3 days
      Fashion & accessories: within 5 days
      General items: within 7 days

      4. How to Request a Refund
      To request a refund:
      Log in to your Karakata Market account.
      Go to Orders → Request Refund.
      Upload clear pictures or videos of the issue (if applicable).
      Provide a short explanation for the refund request.
      Submit for review.
      Our team or the seller will respond within 48 hours.

      5. Return Process
      If the refund request is approved:
      You may be required to return the item to the seller or designated Karakata Market return center.
      Items must be returned in original packaging with all accessories.
      Return shipping cost may be:
      Covered by the seller (for defective or incorrect items)
      Covered by the buyer (for other eligible cases, depending on seller's policy)

      6. Refund Method
      Once the returned item is inspected and approved:
      Refunds will be issued within 3–7 business days.
      Refunds can be credited to:
      Your Karakata Wallet (fastest)
      Your bank account
      The original payment method (where applicable)


      7. Seller Disputes
      In cases where the seller disputes a refund claim, Karakata Market will step in as a neutral mediator.
      Decisions will be based on evidence provided by both parties.

      8. Fraud Prevention
      Karakata Market reserves the right to decline refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, or violate our Terms and Conditions.
